Movember? Prostate Cancer, Burlington Event.

Rangatang donated some prizes to this event. Make sure you get involved, meet people and possible win some longboard prizes from Rangatang.

Patrick Phillips is the guy that approached me with this event. This is how it works in a nut shell: Grow a moustache and longboard or skate from Surf Paradise, down Guelph line to new street across to Elizabeth and finishing at the Dickens pub, drink beers, and be part of winning prizes. More info coming soon regarding route and name of Bar

Additional information about the event:

The Mo, slang for moustache, and November come together each year for Movember.

Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for prostate cancer. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.

The ride will be taking place on Sunday Nov 7th starting in the parking lot of Surf Paradise going down Guelph line to new street across to Elizabeth and finishing at the Dickens pub. It will be a short and easy ride to ensure even in experienced riders can join us. There will be a party at the Dickens afterward where we will be raffling off the prizes and also signing up new members for Theta Omega Mo.
